Help us achieve our ambitious goals by joining our team as System Administrator. 


What you will do 

 

  • Management and development of server infrastructure based on Ubuntu Server LTS
  • Configuration and maintenance of Nginx as a web server – virtual hosts, SSL/TLS, proxy_pass, upstream, rate limiting
  • Configuration and maintenance of HAProxy for load balancing, high availability and failover (health checks, ACL, TCP/HTTP modes)
  • Writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and Terraform resources – automation of repetitive operational tasks
  • Ensuring infrastructure security: system hardening, access management, log analysis, incident response
  • Maintenance and monitoring of PostgreSQL databases
  • Collaborating with the DevOps team on CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
  • Managing Docker-based container environments – networking, Compose, volume management, troubleshooting
  • Working with infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform

You are the ideal candidate if you have

  • Linux (Ubuntu) – at least 3 years of hands-on experience as an administrator; systemd, networking, permissions, log management
  • Nginx – configuration as a web server (virtual hosts, SSL/TLS, proxy_pass) and as an Ingress Controller (annotations, routing, TLS termination)
  • HAProxy – configuration of load balancing, health checks, ACL, TCP/HTTP modes
  • Automation and IaC – custom Ansible playbooks or Terraform resources – practical experience matters, not theoretical knowledge
  • Docker – networking, Compose, volume management, container troubleshooting
  • System security – Ubuntu hardening, SSH key management, firewall management (ufw/iptables), TLS certificates
  • Git – daily work with the repository, merge requests, configuration versioning
  • Databases – basic administration of at least one database, e.g., PostgreSQL.

     Nice to know

 

  • Kubernetes – not required, but       appreciated

  •  Google Cloud Platform – Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM

  • Monitoring and observability – Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Application security – vulnerability scanning, knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, configuration auditing
  • Bash – writing your own administrative and automation scripts
